review 1: This was an adorable picture book about how many babies may be born in different areas or grow up with different traditions, but in the end they all have ten little fingers and ten little toes. This was the reference that kept being given after the author would show the differences in how each baby grew. She kept relating back that each baby had ten fingers and ten toes. “There was one little baby who was born in the hills and another little baby who suffered from chills”. In the end it talks about a baby who is truly divine and that is her own baby that she calls all mine. This was a cute ending because it shows a mother's love. Of course every mother is going to think that her child is perfect no matter what, but she realizes that every baby is perfect no matter wher... moree they are born.Critique: This book was open to all types of races and genders. It was really just a book about unconditional love. I think it was a really sweet book that all mothers should read to their children, and all teachers should read to their students.
review 2: Before I begin to describe the book, I will like to say my daughter enjoyed this book better than any other book i have read to her. With that being said, this book is very different than the others I’ve read, It has very large pictures, simple but large. Throughout the book all I hear is a rhyme, it flows together very well. One thing I notice about the book is the use of different ethnicities. Even though we have read a few books about race, this is book does it in a very simple way. What I got out of it is that every child is special, born in different places is the only characteristic that differentiates the babies, but they are all the same, all have ten little fingers and ten little toes, as every one knows. Over all an excellent book for bonding time with the family and friends. less

Great rhythm. Parents can wiggle fingers and touch baby's toes each time chorus comes up.
