review 1: Yoo-hoo ladybug! Where are you? There you are...is repeated throughout this look and find book until ladybug escapes in a car. Ladybug hides among objects in the bathtub, on the stairs and in a playroom, giving children and the reader many things to talk about. Once the bug is found the next page gives the location with rhyming (example... in a box with rabbit and fox.) This book will create an enjoyable time for the child, who won't even realize literacy skills are being presented.
review 2: Ladybug hides in scenes from a house and her friends try to find her. Easier than Where's Waldo, it could still be challenging for some toddler and preschoolers, but not frustratingly so. If you can't find the ladybug, there's a hinting rhyme on the next page as to wh
... moreere she was. Pidget was good at finding every ladybug, even the ones I thought were hard. This is not a good storytime book because of the small pictures, but a much better book for lapsitting. less

Perfect for storytime. Also great for overtired adults who want some giggles. :)
