review 1: Although Michael Baisden's Do Men Know What They Want exemplified honest and straight-in your-face confessions, I didn't care much for the vulgar and profanity used in the book. Such language was not necessary because the ignorance was purely blatant and sickening. I was also extremely sadden and disappointed with the some of the attitudes and strongly-held beliefs of the men and women who were interviewed. All I can say is, God help us!
review 2: Do Men Know What They Want? reminded me a lot of Steve Harvey's book: Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man. I felt that both books were really honest when it comes to how men feel about relationships and commitment. It was very insightful!! I did like Michael Baisden's book a little more than Act Like a Lady, Think Like ... morea Man, because he seemed to go more in depth with the differences in how men and women view commitment in marriage and/or relationships. This is the perfect book to read before considering marriage or a long term exclusive relationship. less
