review 1: No Spoilers.This series keeps getting better with each book, as the larger story unfolds and the characters develop further. The world building is not as immense as you would find in the door stop novels of Sanderson, Jordan et al., but just enough to make you look forward to turning the next page.I have become a great fan of Royce and Hadrian and enjoy their banter and loyalty to each other throughout these first three books. While it is stated that each book is a separate story, I see that you now have to have a feel of what has gone on before to truly appreciate the plot and characters. Well off to book four.
review 2: Тази поредица се оказва една от най- приятните ми изненади. Не че е някакъв аб... moreсолютен шедьовър. Но за разлика от повечето многотомни фентъзи саги, действието се движи. Във всяка една книга има развитие на героите, научаваме нови неща за тях, интриги се заплитат и разплитат, просто пълнеж почти отсъства. Освен това имам чувството че автора още от началото е знаел в каква посока ще върви действието, което определено се усеща. Продължавам с кеф нататък. less
