review 1: This was Michael Palmer's last book. He died suddenly last year. I have always enjoyed his books. He was a doctor and later became a writer. So his books were about medicine, politics, and murder. This book was about the 100 Neighbors who were trying to stop Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid payments, etc. They felt that these were not good for the economy of the country and that people felt entitled to them and thus did not go out to find work. They did everything they could to stop these entitlements, including killing and introducing a deadly bacteria into hospitals throughout the country. The author did a good job on this book. I will miss his books.
