Dr. Lou Welcome
review 1: This continues the story of Dr. Lou Welcome, a Washington, DC ER physician who finds himself involved in conspiracy and political intrigue when his friend is arrested for the murder of a prominent politician. Since the friend was having an affair with the politician's wife, he is the most logical suspect and the police believe they have their man. Lou thinks so too but agrees to look into it for his friend. Lou finds his way to secret, classified military operations and a very high ranking government official. Realistically, Lou must be the most competent and unluckiest person ever for what he gets involved in and escapes. But it makes for a great read.
review 2: It is a frightening thought that "whatever it takes" is a battle cry of determination on missi
... moreons by Military groups to succeed no matter what the cost. Lou Welcome has been asked to clear his best friend's name when he (Gary McHugh)is thought to be the only suspect in a murder case in Washington, D.C. Lou puts himself in danger but with the help of others, looking for a way to expose that same Military group, come forward to help. The storyline moves along a fast path of destruction and terminates with a logical way to get to the bottom of the cartel/USA connection. less
