In Her Name: The Last War
review 1: Another great book in the In Her Name: The Last War series! This book further makes the reader feel that there really is no "good" side or "bad" side. While the Kreelans are the ones attacking the Human sphere, to their minds they have very valid reasons to do so. I particularly loved the fleshed out story of Tesh'Dar and really grew to love Li'ara Zhurah. With all of the in fighting that the humans were having in this book I actually found myself rooting for the Kreelans on several occasions. When I first started reading this series, I never thought I'd find myself cheering on the enemy!Great read! Can't wait to read Dead Soul next!
review 2: What a fantastic story! This book takes us back in time to when the Kreelans began their "invasion" of the human
... moreworlds but focuses on some incredible human and Kreelan characters. The insights into the Kreelan culture and ethics is detailed and imaginative. There is intense action, sad moments, fascinating details of Kreelan and human tactics, and even some Cold War style human distrust of other humans. The elements weave together to form a perfect and entertaining story that I couldn't stop reading. I've opened to page 1 of the next book in the series and know exactly how much I will love it because of the previous two books. This is epic space theater on the grand scale of Star Wars! less
