review 1: When Red Ted gets left on a train, Crocodile (another lost toy) is helpful but pessimistic about whether Red Ted can get home. This does not dissuade our hero from trying, however.A beautiful marriage of words and pictures, a satisfying story about finding your way home, and a magical reminder that bravery inspires more bravery. Thank you to Kitri for a couple great picture book recommendations this past week!
review 2: Feels almost like cheating since this was a gift to my 3 year old, but since it qualifies as a graphic novel I'm including it here. For those who love graphics and want to introduce them to young kids, this is a great intro. Red Ted shows that he has brains as well as cuteness and figures out ways to keep them all safe and dry. Very cute. Thank you Karen. less
