review 1: This slow cooker book is good, but please be aware that it's the more complex method of slow-cooking: sautee this and that then cook then add something near the end. It's good though.I don't use the recipes very often, but I do a lot of cross-referencing with this book. I used it a lot at first when using my slow cooker, but then I ran out of time. As a very busy graduate student, I rarely have the bandwidth to do multiple step meals.
review 2: I really enjoyed looking through the recipes in this book, and am looking forward to trying them. It is not easy to find slow-cooker recipes that go beyond the "cream-of-mushroom soup" variety.
