review 1: I downloaded this book and read it while on vacation to try to deal with my new rescue cats issues. The majority of the topics were relevant to what we were dealing with and were really helpful. I did find I had to reread a few sections because the steps were kind of confusing, "if your cat is doing this, complete steps A,B&C but if your cat is doing this complete steps A, C, B, D, A, A, F". Still not sure if I understand the intent of those sections but fortunately they didn't apply to my cat. And I agree with other reviewers when they say you have to have a mansion to implement some of the techniques as written. My little townhouse just wouldn't fit all the solutions. Overall, an interesting read with helpful solutions that resulted in my cat and I both living happier, l... moreess stressful lives. I recommend it.
review 2: This was an amazingly informative book. One I wished I had read one year ago. I only hope it helps my problem cat before drugs are necessary. Perhaps I require a home visit although the author seems to indicate only her directions are essential. I love her tone and she has made an extensive study of cat behavior. I have recommended it to at least one dozen friends, simply for the numerous cat behavior facts she includes. less
