review 1: My worst nightmare is being stranded somewhere. Angie goes on a cruise with her husband. After getting off the ship at the first port of call. Angie mishears how long they will be stopping. And ends up missing the last tender back to the ship. Now imagine on top of all that stress. You find out another passenger has been stranded. And to make matters worse. This person used to be your best friend. Until she ran off with the love of your life. This books message is clearly. Be careful what you wish for.
review 2: An enjoyable story about a couple on their first cruise. Stuck on a table with the most irritating of companions and a husband who is rapidly succumbing to sea sickness, Angie, who loves her husband dearly but feels she ended up with second best, is hor... morerified to miss the boat quite literally on an island stop, and get stranded with the one person she had hoped never to clap eyes on again. Plenty of humour, and a bit of a moral here. Good holiday reading. less
