review 1: This books was inconsistent and all over the place. Liam is a tough soldier who sobs when he sees his dad, Stan is a commanding officer who stumbles around a kidnapping site with no plan, Sadie is intelligent but not capable of anything.... Just not an interesting or good read in any way. I started this a bit ago, but has to keep closing it, hoping it would be better if I walked away from it for a day or two. Didn't work!
review 2: A Johnny Depp look-alike as a guardian angel? Why not? Liam gets some much needed interventions when “Johnny, the angel,” prevents him from killing a little boy with his car and involving him in Sadie’s life. Sadie is not interested in any man, but gets drawn into Liam’s due to the accident. This is a fun romance, and I b... moreought the first in the series after finishing this one, the very day I read it. less
