review 1: I enjoyed this book as much as I did the first. It was hilariously funny, yet serious and intense. A nice balance all around. And the mythology of it all was unique yet not confusing; sometimes when an author creates a world it is hard to follow how their magic works and how their characters fit in, but that is not the case here. I love Eli and Dusty together ... I can't wait to read the next book to see what happens with them :-D
review 2: Ah, I just love this series so much - don't change anything Mindee, because what you have here is perfection. Dusty is great, Eli is wonderful brooding in the corner and the rest of the cast are fantastic. The plot is amazing, as I was a little dubious, wondering if Mindee could pull it off again, after The Nightmare Affair,... more which I also really loved, but she completely delivered! Read this book people!!!!!!!! less
