review 1: I haven't read a book that has made me laugh so much since I read The Iron Fey Series by Julie Kagawa. This book was an easy attention getter and had my hooked from the first page. A very unique opening and a very entertaining and relatable plot. I could easily relate being a teenage girl, and the best part was, it was a fabulous book with no sparkly people or superhuman characters. It was about everyday people, facing everyday situations, just like you and me. Every one, boy or girl, should read this book. It is one that is enjoyable and entertaining for EVERYONE!!!

Izzy's major crush has finally started noticing her, but she makes sure that she doesn't turn into a trampy girl like her ex-best friend Meredith. Izzy is your world class hypochondriac and she obsessively check the web for "symptoms" that she exhibits to deal with her stress. Along the way she learns that everything is not as it appears. She is totally annoying and her head is totally up her butt (it is never removed btw). Izzy had potential, but with no character growth and no real resolution in the plot I just couldn't get behind this book. less
