review 1: I actually found it really hard to rate this book. I found that it was interesting enough for me to keep reading but there was a few thing's that annoyed me about it.I felt that her brother James wasn't even needed in the story at all. His storyline or tiny part of it just cluttered an already full complicated story. Nate bothered me because he was clearly put there to keep you thinking. He got angry about the jilted wedding when he heard about it but he was pretty much thinking of doing the same thing. Then there was Ed...the best friend who was clearly put into the purely friend zone category. That is right until the end where it was suddenly rushed to put him into a love interest.All this being said....I did finish the book, it didn't make me dislike the story com... morepletely and the book isn't all that bad. I feel that it doesn't deserve a 1 or 2 star rating as that is unfair.
review 2: I have mixed feelings about this book. I liked the characters and the family they'd created. I was surprised and disappointed (? - probably not the best word) to learn of her big secret. Like other readers, I was expecting something awful that could truly change her friends opinion of her. What it was seemed so minor and not even her fault. Yeah, hard to move on from - I get the while iceberg thing. The whole time is was reading his book I thought it had a sequel (because it was part of a two book pack) - so I was okay with the ending. And by ending I mean the last page. I thought there was more to the story... But I've just learned the next book is filled with totally different characters. I feel ripped off... I need an epilogue! less
