review 1: After finding the sword, Edgar is now officially recognized as an Earl. And Lydia thought her job was over, she was ready to head home. But Edgar had other plans, deciding to hire her full time as his fairy doctor. Now a girl has went missing and Lydia has to figure out if it was really the Fogman who took her and if so, is the Fogman a fairy? If not, what is the Fogman? Edgar seems really nice and sweet, but it's so hard to trust him. He'll stop at nothing to get revenge, even using others in the process. But I know he does it because of his past, because of those who trusted him and he feels that he let them down. He does have redeeming qualities and I don't think he is completely bad. However, he may be capable of being completely bad though and like I said, it's hard t... moreo trust him. You can never tell when he's lying or telling the truth. He's a sometimes confusing character, a bit mysterious yet and complex.I think Lydia is very patient with Edgar and I definitely understand her not trusting him. I like in this volume that it shows even more of Lydia's knowledge of fairies.Nico is around some in this volume and as always, is looking out for Lydia.Raven is an interesting character, but not too much is seen from him in this volume.There are some new characters in this volume and now I know what Edgar is planning to do and some more of his back story. It's actually sad what happened to him and how he was tricked. It wasn't right at all, but I feel bad for Lydia having to be involved.Really great volume. Adds some more back story and it is revealed (well, not completely) what Edgar is planning next. Looking forward to 4th and final volume.
review 2: The previous story ended. Now she is employed by the Blue Knight Earl. But something mysterious is happening, a girl has disappeared last seen with your employer. An investigation is started, while you think you can finally trust him, and he won't lie to you anymore; you think you might even be feeling something for him. There comes along alittle strawberry haired vixen with a smart mouth to still him away. Does he woo every woman he comes across? Where has this missing woman gone, did he take her for some reason?....Who knows. It just keeps getting better and better :) less
