The Night Stalkers
review 1: This is the fourth book in the Night Stalkers series and the last in the current story arc. This story differs from previous ones in that the climax of the action takes place in the US. But the build up happens at the soccer stadium aka base of operations and the surrounds. In this book we follow Lola LaRue. Lola featured in a previous book so her appearance wasn't unexpected as a further character. Lola is Emily's co-pilot and has to deal with the awe of flying with Major Beale and at the same time fit in with the crew. Needless to say there are some bumps along the way.The romantic element with "Crazy Tim" was well done. I enjoyed reading about them as a couple.I enjoyed this story.I'm looking forward to the new series and finding out what is going to be the next ... morestep with the Night Stalkers. I'm also curious if Trisha O'Malley - a character who has featured in name and in person in this book and others - will get her own book.
review 2: I loved this book. I was lucky enough to read the previous books in the series, and this one is a great addition. M>L Buchman has offered readers a well researched, excellently written contemporary action romance; not an easy thing to accomplish. He balances the aspects of action and romance so that they are believable and interesting independently of each other. The primary characters are engaging and multi dimensional, as are the secondary characters. One of the things I appreciated about the author;s writing style was his ability to paint a visual picture through his words - fantastic settings, even pacing - fast! and dialogue that is witty but appropriate to the characters and the situations, make this series an easy recommend for me.*I received my copy from NetGalley.com in exchange for an honest review. less

Not bad, but the first two books in the series are still the best, in my opinion.
