review 1: This book picks up right where the first one left off. Dani was picked up by the FBI as a "witness" against the club. Now, she's back with the club, but no one trusts her... including the man that claimed to love her. Shadow finally found someone he thought he could love and trust, only to find out that she's a rat... so why is she back at the club she betrayed... and why can't he quit thinking about her and wanting her?Once I started reading this I couldn't stop. It took one unseen turn after the other and by the end it had me wrapped in knots and emotionally depleted. Shadow had me so angry through most of the book, but at the same time you can't help but love him and want to comfort him. He's just the right mix of alpha, jerk and lover to keep you loving him. I'm a suck... moreer for damaged alpha so this is right up my alley. I can't wait for Bobby and Doc's story.~Jennifer
review 2: reviewer for MNP* I RECEIVED THIS BOOK AS A GIFT FOR A HONEST REVIEW.Wow!! Dani and Shadow's relationship is even more intense! It had me on edge from very bringing. So happy my favorite couple got over their trust issues more shadow then Dani. Dani character grow more strong in this book. Shadow was down right sob I wish she just once knock shadow on his a**. So glad Bobby is ok started crying my eyes out he's my all time favorite. Can't wait for book 3 comes out!!!! Hope see more of Dani and shadow in future. This book is very intense, dark, very violence all wrap into one. Love every minute. less
