review 1: This is Half-Moon Hallow #2. Nola's grandmother sends her off to Kentucky to find the four elements to keep their power and bind the power away from the Kerrigans. Nola is stunned to find out that her grandfather, Mr. Wainwright did not abandon her grandmother and mother like she thought. Jane and the crew at the bookstore become like a family for her. Her next door neighbor, Jed, is seriously hot and interested in her. Will she find the elements in time to save her family?I loved this one. Nola fits right in to the wackiness that lives in Half-Moon Hollow. Jed is adorable. I love how Nola gets freaked out by Dick!
review 2: If you are looking for fun, light, well-written paranormal romance that is likely to make you laugh with a mystery that keeps you guessing... more, Molly Harper's books are a good bet. I took several of her books to the beach, and they were perfect light, entertaining reads. Half Moon Hollow is a spin off series from the Jane Jameson series that comes before it. I recommend reading them in order - they are much funnier that way.This one was about an ambivalent witch on a quest to find some family relics that will ensure her family's power for another century. So no pressure. The search brings her to Half-Moon Hollow, Kentucky, where shoe meets the supernatural gang from the first series and develops a strong interest in her hunky next door neighbor. less
