A Haunted Yarn Shop Mystery
review 1: This is an excellent cozy mystery with well-developed characters and a interesting plot. The main character, Kath (and her accompanying if not always accommodating ghost Geneva)lead what they call a "Posse" that seeks to find answers to crimes in town, particularly murders. Each member of the Posse is a very realistic portrayal of an individual, with all their quirks and foibles. It is a pleasure to spend time with Kath and her posse and resident ghost. Molly MacRae is to be congratulated on creating a great story.
review 2: Despite my indifference to crafts and active dislike of supernatural mysteries, I can't resist Molly MacRae's new take on Blue Plum, where the annual festival is interrupted by the death of Reva Louise, who had just about worn out her welco
... moreme at the Weaver's Cat, the shop which Kath inherited from her grandmother. The police think that Reva was killed accidentally, by a reenactor who is too frightened to 'fess up; Kath and her fiber working friends think that the woman was targeted--but why? As usual, the characters are not cliched and the conversation--even with Geneva, a demanding ghost Kath alone sees--is funny and true. less

This was too silly, with the ghost. The characters were shallow, the relationships trite.
