review 1: This trilogy was an amazing discovery. I enjoyed Timepiece just as much as I did The first book in the trilogy, Hourglass. I applaud Myra MacEntire's decision to have the second book take the point of view of a different character but within the same set of characters already introduced in the first book. Like in the first one, the lead protagonist Kaleb is such a rich and complex character, and experiencing his evolution was like a journey unto itself. The book did not disappoint either as far as the twists and turns introduced towards the end. In a way, it was like unraveling a mystery in the quest for answers. I also enjoyed how each character's special ability is explored and amplified.
review 2: At first I thought this book was still in Em's POV so when I
... moreread the first page I was massively confused to say the least. Then I realized it was Kaleb's POV, and at first I was disappointed because I had really liked Em, but Kaleb was great. He was hilarious and Timepiece was just as fun and adventurous as Hourglass. A top notch sequel, though admittedly, I kinda sorta still like Em's POV better, maybe just because Michael's in it more but whatever.Happy Reading!!! less
