review 1: Oh man...the feeels!!! I always knew Dev Santos was one bad-ass mofo. Handsome, chiseled and yummiliciously built. But to read that his ancestors were in the original rebellion against Silent, well that's something. There is the saying; "He's the man", well Santos is the real deal. I won't say he's cruel, he just do what must be done and do not take emotions in considerations. When I first read about the guy in Tally-Clay story, he was not as straightforward but I thought maybe he could be the bad guy. But reading about him in BOM made me realize that he might be one scary SOB but he is loyal and he protects what's his. And in this case, I don't mean the Forgotten children but Katya-his beautiful rebel psy.I won't lie to say I knew she was good blabla. I was wary of her, h... moreoping she'll screw up especially when she really went North with Dev. But turns out, the girl is a strong and stubborn as Dev. Perfect combo! She doesn't give up and is so honest about her feelings and thoughts that's it's almost childish. I said ALMOST, aint nothing childish when a woman says she wants to taste you... *clear throat*And man, when she was dying, I could feel Dev's anguish and I confess my face was drowning in tears in no time. The author made a cruelly excellent job to make us believe she was really dying, because she is a full-blood psy that was not suppose to be able to link to the Shadow-Net and no way she could link to the Web of Stars too.I really thought she was done. Then two little angels came, I did not see thaat one coming. It makes me want to read about Keenan and Noor, as future adult psy and MATES. And on serious note, I hope that scar-face Ming dies or stay contained by the Arrows. Good to know Vasic is not alone in his rebellion. Now I want to know about Aden-where did he came from?! Alsooo, it showed us another aspect of Ghost, when he was talking to Judd. He was quite uninformed about how the Arrows' loyalty works, thus he's not an arrow, or was not trained as an arrow but doesn't mean he doesn't have the ability, like Kaleb does. Seriously now, who the fudge is that guy?! the suspense is killing me.....
review 2: Por regla general me suelen gustar los libros de esta autora, pero este me ha decepcionado. Me esperaba mucho, más que nada por la serie que es pero a mi parecer no ha estado a la altura.Sus protagonistas no me llegaron y eso que esperaba con ansia el libro de Santos. Lo leí mas que nada por la curiosidad que me despertaban otros personajes que por la historia central.Pese a todo esto, también es cierto que el final es muy, muy emotivo.En fin, seguiré leyendo la serie porque tengo muchas ganas de saber que sucede con otros personajes pero no porque este me ha haya gustado especialmente less
