review 1: My four-sentence or less take on the plot: Nora has wacky adventures with her mafioso boyfriend and her bizarre family while trying to navigate with a new boss who seems to have his eye on her. (Look at that--one sentence!!!)Rating: 8What worked: I like the weirdos in this book and I love fashion, so I love imagining Nora's spectacular wardrobe. I also have no idea where the love interest in this book is going and I'm glad for that--it's exciting. What didn't: I guessed the entire storyline about halfway through and that's never a good thing. Even with that, it was a cute book and I'm looking forward to the next.Extras: None but I'm not sure what there would really be.Will I read the next? Absolutely.
review 2: Little black book of murder is a very exciting... more addition to the Blackbird sister’s mystery series written by Nancy Martin. She is writing an excellent series with twists and turns to make the excitement last until the end. A murder of a high society celebrity fashion mogul who is starting an organic farm with his supermodel wife happens just as the farm is getting started. The Blackbird sisters are right in the middle of the mud. less
