review 2: The writings of Napoleon Hill are as relevent today as they were in the early 20th century! Like one of my o... morether favourites, Florence Scovil Shinn, Hill offers pratical techniques for steerage safe passage on the seas of life. While I am familiar with many of his concepts as distilled through other thinkers, I like Hill's down to earth style and unapologetic endorsement on all aspects of life - that material wealth and financial stability is desirable as a platform to support doing good for others as well as oneself. Doing the right thing is an ESSNTIAL ingredient of LASTING success in whatever area of life one wants to achieve it. I recommend this to anyone at the beginning of adult life, and anyone navigating midlife and beyond. He points out that rebound is possible in at any stage of one's journey, provided a sound understanding of the cycles of life is gained. I feel refreshed and newly motivated in my own life saga after reading this volume. less
