review 1: I can't even begin to explain how much this story resonated with me. This author did a superb job making the readers really feel the struggle a person faces when they have a mental illness. As someone who experiences anxiety and OCD, this story really sang to me. I know a lot of people struggle to understand what mental illness is and they don't always grasp what the affected person goes through. I would love everybody to read this because it raises awareness about the kind of experiences affected people have and the kind of thought processes that take place when you have this kind of disorder. Every affected person goes through different experiences and this book paints a very accurate picture of some of the things a person with this disoder may experi... moreence.
review 2: I love this story. It's a great short to read between all the crazy of my busy day. OCD and anxiety are handled so well. I loved seeing the relationship blossom and I thought the arc of progress Jude made was fabulous. My only discomfort is with the final scene. I feel like Jude swings from one extreme to the other and then doesn't have much trouble interacting after that point. I wanted to see more of a struggle that Devon helps him overcome in that final scene.Still, the characters were great, the setup is great, the story is great. I love it. less
