review 1: Chelsea was in an accident and is trying to regain some independence by moving to the city and doing an internship. She meets Xander in her building. Xander is sweet and sexy and he thinks up all these steamy scenarios to tempt Chelsea into being with him, but not a real relationship. Of course, it doesn't stay this way and both of them have to face their growing feelings and get over some past issues. I enjoyed it and would re-read this one. Look forward to the next book. Xander's group of dreamy friends are featured in the next books.
review 2: This was an ok read. The story was predictable. Two people with troubled pasts finding each other and falling in love. Chelsea is starting over. She is on her own after two years of being coddled after an acc... moreident that changed her life. She does not want anyone's help. She needs to gain back her independence. She is doing ok until a fire drill that exposes her weaknesses. She learns she has needs not only physically, but emotionally.Xander doesn't do relationships. He has seen too many go bad. He can take care of people though and make sure they are safe and never feel like he did. When he sees her struggling to get out of the building he has to help her. Only he doesn't realize that she is going to eventually rescue him.They had some serious chemistry and the author did a good job at building up their sexual tension. It just was a little off for my usual romance taste. It had a few tender moments, but other than that it was just ok. less
