review 1: I'll give this book a 5 because it is a great boy book and there seems to never be enough of those! I have long respected Nathan Hale (BYU-Idaho graduate) as an illustrator. This book caused me to respect him as a writer. His twist on the traditional carol is one of the best I have seen. I acknowledge that Christmas and Robots are an odd blend, but the illustrations and words are sure to make you smile.
review 2: Ok, so we had a little Christmas in July today. My nephew pulled this off the shelf at the library (his first check-out on his very first, very own library card--it was a big day), and I was really suprised at how cute and clever it was! Both of the kids thoroughly enjoyed this one, and it's one that I'm sure we'll have to check out again. This ... morewould be a great stocking-stuffer for that individual who loves electronic gifts. Also a great gift for just about any electrical or computer engineer who celebrates Christmas. This one was a pleasant surprise, and a lot of fun! less
