review 1: I feel I shouldn't rate this book since it's not published yet. I've been following the author's reviews for a while and when she mentioned this was free to read on Wattpad (until publication) I wanted to check it out. And I enjoyed it. It's sort of a "sweet historical erotic romance with a compelling mystery plot". Yeah, that. And now I'm curious about the next book in the series. While there wasn't exactly a cliffhanger, it did leave me very intrigued...
review 2: This was an awesome book. I don't even know where to begin...if you like strong characters that learn and grow, you'll love this book. If you like historical fiction that isn't just the same generic retelling of the marriage market during Regency England, then you'll love this book. If you like m... moreysteries that are complex and involve conspiracies and spies, you'll love this book. If you enjoy racy love stories that aren't filled with just the usual perceived misunderstandings that love romance books have, then you will definitely love this book. If you are willing to embrace the idea that love comes in all forms then you can't pass this one up. I was completely shocked to find out that there is a second book coming out and I can't wait to see where these characters are going to go and to figure out the unresolved questions I have from the last chapter. The teaser from the next book introduces us to a new character and I can't wait to see where all of this is going! I can't recommend this book enough! Read it!! less
