review 1: This book is so well-written that I ignored the predictability of the plot. After 50 pages if you can't guess where this book is going, you don't read much. The author took much longer than necessary to conclude this novel, although she did weave the characters into a good story. Unfortunately, the discerning reader will distinguish the white hats from the black hats almost immediately! As with her previous book, Snow White Must Die, the ending is just too implausible. Still it was an entertaining read (the subject matter is very disturbing though.
review 2: Ook dit boek had ik bewaard om in alle rust te lezen op vakantie. Nele Neuhaus heeft nu ( volgens mij) 4 boeken vertaald in het Nederlands en ik ben ongelofelijk fan. Veel verhaallijnen, vandaar ook bewaa... morerd voor een week waar ik dit boek op mijn gemak kon lezen , want steeds een gestolen half uurtje werkt niet bij de boeken van Nele. De verhaallijnen zijn soms ingewikkeld en je moet er wel bijblijven. Dikke 5 sterren !! less
