review 1: Πολύπλοκα όλα... τόσο που υπαρχει μια αγωνια από τη συγγραφέα για να τα μπλέξει πολύ και ετσι καταλήγουμε σε πολλά ονόματα και χαρακτηρες, στοιχεία και μικρά σημεία πλοκής, που για καποιο λόγο σε αποκρύνουν από τη ροή και το ενδιαφέρον του διαβάσματος.
review 2: So I wanted to read a book by Nele Neuhaus since forever. I heard so many good things about her novels that I was a bit anxious to start reading with her successful Taunus crime stories. Nevertheless, I got the first 2 books and started with "Eine unbeliebte Frau". And to be honest, at first I was a bi... moret bored. All the things about horses and all - the whole crime story just didn't seem to start somehow. Even with 2 dead bodies. But the writing style was good and I was interested enough - nevertheless - to continue reading and in the end I was glad that I got through the slow beginning of this book. This was a really entertaining murder mystery. The detectives were nice, interesting to know what will happen to them in the further books. And the best thing? Had no idea who killed the woman until it was revealed. Maybe a bit too many people and places but oh well so it was no wonder that I was confused. Exciting nonetheless. Bring on novel #2 now! less
