review 1: This book (or perhaps novella is a better term) wasn't at all what I was expecting after reading Nicola Marsh's other books. It isn't a conventional romance (no hero or HEA) and seemed to end kind of abruptly. It seemed more like a prequel to a book about the heroine than a standalone book (I know it's part of a series, but it doesn't even sound like the next book is about the heroine in this one.)
review 2: Cute story, I thought it was a cliffhanger but then book 2 I am currently reading and it doesn't address how book 1 ended. I believe it will pick later in the book but the book was ok. I'll edit my review once I finish book 2 in hopes it ties in this story. Ok, so Lucky Love did not knock my socks off. It was cute & quirky. I thought we would have a HEA
... more ending but it was really left to your imagination and book 2 Crazy Love didn't even touch book 1. Book 2 was AWESOME. Go read the reviews for that book. I would say that both of these books could be standalone but book 2 was so so so much better than book 1. Better female, better characters and better man/men.
