review 1: This story is exactly what we're all looking for in a Christmas tale - a lovely heroine we can all empathise with, not one but two handsome heroes and a poignant but happy ending which makes you feel all warm inside. I loved the setting of the charity and the way that Yves teaches Evie to be thankful for all that's good in her life, despite all that's happened to her. The twist is so touching when it comes and took me quite by surprise. I cried but felt happy at the end and that's how it should be :)
review 2: Read this short but spirited story over the Christmas period and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed the fast paced style of contemporary writing which was dotted with little interesting snippets of information relating to the surroundings that the main
... moreplayers found themselves in here and there whilst adding to the splendidly written and very like-able characters that were fun to watch, as you wondered what would happen next to them when rooting for it all to work out in the end with a twist in the tale to boot. And lastly I loved the message in the story about how changing your attitude to life, just might change your entire life for the better as an outcome of taking a chance when it presents itself and letting go of any hurt in the past which could weigh you down and stop you floating to the top to reach your potential in order to be the best you that you can possibly be, while focusing on the future when turning a negative into a positive. This is something that we all should do more of in general but probably don't do enough of in reality and sadly it holds us back from attaining the wonderful life that we all surely deserve. So if your looking to gain a warm, fuzzy feeling from a book then you just might get it if you read this one. Can't wait to read more works from this talented author soon. less
