The list of my top movies of 2017 is a little late coming because I had some movies that I had not had the chance to see yet. Now instead of doing the usual top 10 movies, I thought I would do my top 22 (because I turned 22 in 2017). Disclaimer before you read my list, I obviously did not have the chance to see every movie that came out in 2017 so I am sure there will be movies missing that you will be shocked didn’t make the list. I have also chosen to list them in order of enjoyment, so while some movies may be way better technically I just did not enjoy them as much so they far farther down the list. For me movies are all about the pure emotions that they can bring a person. The moments where you can’t keep a smile off your face , you actually laugh out loud or you can’t control the tears flowing down your face. That to me makes a great movie. Even if the action sequences are cheesy or the jokes are corny, if they can make someone feel something I believe the film has succeeded. Well after that mini rant, here is my list! And here’s to another great year of films ahead of us in 2018.
