review 1: This is my first read from this author and it was a pretty good start. The Beauvois sisters were each so different from one another, and all three were full of high drama. Seantay was probably the most entertaining. The way she man hoped was a bit hilarious to me, but when she met her match it really slowed her down and made her a softer person. Seandra was just so blinded by love that I often though how could a woman be so gullible and ignore all the bad signs from this man. But she did, and she paid the price in the end. Renell was certainly the most level headed in the family. Although she had her issues, they were something many women can relate to so it made her character feel a bit more realistic than the others. Overall I enjoyed the read, and would read the... more sequel when it comes out to catch up with these characters.
review 2: This was my first read from Nika and it won't be my last. The Beauvois sisters are a hand full. You have Seantay the baby who is still at home getting spoiled by her Dad, who has a secret addiction to bad boys. Then there is Seandra who has a great career in acting, but will put up with anything from a man. Lastly there is Renell the oldest who is holding onto some painful secrets. The book started off a little slow, but after the first couple of chapters it drew me in and I couldn't put it down. There was some plenty of drama, sex, and lies. The only issue I had was that there were some grammatical errors throughout, but they weren't horrible errors. Very good read and I am looking forward to the next installment. less
