review 1: Age range: 2-5Literacy skill: Print awarenessThis book has lovely cut paper illustrations. It follows a cat through the course of its day, from cleaning to stretching. This is a great book to begin to teach kids that print has meaning. Each page shows the cat engaged in some activity and has a word to go with that activity (like "stretch"). This would be a fun one to have kids act out at storytime.
