review 1: The book is 3 stories in one novel. 3 stories about one night that changes everything. My favorite is the 2nd, One night in the ice storm, and least one the third, One night with her best friend. I liked the concept of the novellas. 2 people who have know each other for a long time and have feelings for the other having one night that changes the dynamic of their relationship.. Noeele Adams's writing is familiar in this book from her other books but is not boring or tiring. I like it very much. As for the books I liked them and they reminded me how much I love the contemporary romance books.
review 2: I like this author, but I don't feel this was her best work. These felt like practice stories, a writing exercise. I liked the bodyguard one best, the old flame o... morene was ok, but the friends to lovers one was almost painful. Her writing has improved with her more recent releases. Also, these three could really use another read through by an editor or at the very least, a proofreader. I found many examples of dropped letters, dropped words, and incorrect tenses. 2.5 stars. less
