If you love Historical fiction like I do than The Promise of Dawn by Lauraine Snelling will not disappoint. Set in the early 1900’s. One families brave journey to a new land turns into a nightmare when all is not as it seems from the letter that prompted them to to leave their home in Norway. I was not sure at first if I would like this book as much as I did since I usually prefer a romance. But after the first few chapters I was hooked and had to know how this book ended! I’d recommend this for those who enjoy Historical Inspirational fiction and especially stories on early immigration into the United States!
