review 1: Boomerang has some of the most likeable, yet realistic, characters I’ve met in a novel in a long time. Ethan’s and Mia’s alternating points of view are so distinct and believable; they seem like real people that I hung out with for a while. Now that I’ve finished the book, I’ll miss them. And the story is adorable. I laughed, worried for them, got a little choked up at times and embarrassingly thrilled during the sexy parts. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Boomerang a smash hit rom-com at the theater one day. I loved this book!
review 2: As one reviewer already stated, this book is fresh in that it feels more like a good adult romance instead of a shallow, cliched new adult. Romantic tension and angst are enough to keep you reading without being full
... more of over-the-top drama. Lately, I've read too many novels that I end up skimming/skipping pages because of unnecessary "depth" or description. Three-quarters of the way through Boomerang, I turned to my husband and said, "This is a decent read -- I haven't skipped one paragraph." It felt smart, funny, and sincere. Stayed up until 1:30 am to finish it. My only letdown was the last page. Can't say why. Maybe I wasn't ready for it to end? less

So boring... and I kept getting confused between the two POVs because they were both so bland.
