review 1: The book is about a big adventure about a boy Rob and his doll named potterwookiee. He can do all kinds of things like walk, talk, and do magic, he does this by his magic wand. Him and rob have great laughs along the way and had plenty of fun. Before this all happened harry was under a spell so he couldn't do anything but only say weird things out of no where like the word jabba. The book has good characters and scenes witch were pretty fun. My favorite part in the book was when they were in the graveyard when they tried to prank Wilt. He was a bully who bullied everytime he went to school so him and his friends tried get him back for doing that. The book was packed with a lot of awesome and some laughs so this is why this book deserves a good rating.
review 2:
... more This was just okay. The main character, Robert, has a mysterious closet that is jammed with science experiment paraphanalia and other clothes and toys and is shut with a magical door knob. When the door finally opens, out pops a minature creature that is half Chewbacca and half Harry Potter. Potterwookiee helps Robert solve his most unsolvable problems as a pre-teen in supposedly funny ways. The concept is okay but the execution is lacking. Most of the scenarios were so cliched that I could almost name which other book had also used it. For instance, glasses get knocked off and then stepped on and the character can't see to avoid a danger. Most of the elements of suspense were so contrived that they were really not believable or worse, they weren't suspenseful. I think 3rd graders might enjoy this book but much older and they'll notice the holes in the plot as easily as I did. less

Once the boy got interested in this, we raced through it. A silly little book for 2-5th graders.

This is a laugh-out loud, hysterical book. Great for all Diary of the Wimpy Kid book fans.
