review 1: Easily the weakest of the three Windermere/Stephens books. The story gets bogged down in the will they or won't they foolishness. When the author sticks with the "Killswitch" plot line, the story moves quick and is interesting. Maybe it's time to move on from these characters or leave them be for awhile and try a stand alone or start another series. However it looks like the author intends to continue the series. i hope he gets back to the action that made the first two books so good.
review 2: This is the first book of I have read by this author. I am grateful that he moves the action right along. Easy to read. The mystery itself is mildly interesting but rather predictable. However, too much of the novel concerns the adolescent sexual behavior and language
... more of the two main characters, one a beautiful (we are constantly reminded of her beautiful and how all men desire her) youngish FBI agent and the not so young, married state cop. Not even mildly interesting. The state cop's wife could have done better. less

Anyone else feel strangely cheated that this was not called 'Kill Switch' instead of 'Kill Fee'?
