review 1: The main female character is betrayed by her friend which leaves her and her mate open to and evil mage made sickness. Most of her people are killed and they are forced to go into hiding having everyone believe they are extinct. The female character goes on for 1000 years blaming herself and her mate. Every time I heard that I cringed. Are we supposed to all be stupid and not notice that no one places blame where it belongs. The betrayer is still her most trusted friend and advisor. She is allowed to act like a spoiled jealous brat and not once does any one call her on it. That ruined the book for me.
review 2: Another great Feral Warriors story by Pamela Palmer! Filled with equal parts intrigue, mystery, love, intimacy and bad guys this story is a keeper!The s... moretory of Kougar and his Queen, Ariana, the story is well-built, the characters easy to relate to, filled with humanity, though not all human. The plot takes you through ups and downs, curves and challenges. In the end, Kougar ends up saving them both by realizing he has to open himself-fully.I have loved this series from the start, and while I've been catching up a bit, I've purchased each book as it was released, pre-ordering them the minute they are available-I love the series that much.If you like stories of the supernatural, this is one for you to try. It is unlike any currently on the market; the stories & characters new and fresh, the plot original and well thought out.As I prepare to start the next in the series, I can't imagine what Pamela has created this time...but I anxiously look forward to it (and 'A Love Untamed' and 'Wulfe Untamed' after).A must-read series for those who love supernatural stories. It will keep you riveted to your seat, anxious to turn the next page!4 1/2 stars for Hunger Untamed! Thanks Pamela! Enjoy! =) less
