After the Storm
review 1: The fifth book in the After the Storm series.Clay Logan left High Plains, Kansas seven years ago and never returned. He blamed himself for the death of his parents and after his brother told him he always hurt everyone he left, with no goodbyes.Nicki Appleton had spent a wonderful prom night with Clay Logan and then the next day he was gone. She received one postcard with one sentence in seven years. Now she had Kasey in her life though. The young toddler who was found wandering after the tornado was in her car as a foster child. The longer she had Kasey the more she wanted her there always.Wonderful story.
review 2: A wonderful read for those relaxing evenings by the fireplace. Davids packs faith, forgiveness, love, and family into this story. I loved all the
... morecharacters, as well as the plot. Davids writes about a rekindled love, a little girl in need of a family after being orphaned during a twister, and a torn apart by that twister. As I read this book, I found myself wishing it wouldn't end. I could feel God moving through the pages as He guided the characters. After the book ended, and I said goodbye (though I didn't want to!) to the characters, I knew the message that Davids wove between the lines of this amazing story. The meaning of family and what it truly means to be thankful. I know what I'm thankful for.....do you???Five stars and two thumbs, definitely!!! *This book was purchased by me for my own collection* less
