review 1: This is just a preliminary review. I like psychological thriller/mysteries so was excited to discover Patricia MacDonald. It's pretty good so far, though seemed kinda depressing throughout the first half. But I can see things finally start to turn around, so I am hopeful it will go better from here. One kinda weird thing that bothers me about this book is the font in which it is typed. I don't like it at all!Ok, it did get better! I guess the first part was just a tad slow and depressing for my taste. I will definitely give Patricia MacDonald another chance.
review 2: Select Editions Vol 5, 2010Mac Donald writes good mysteries that aren't full of trash and swear words!!! It takes awhile to figure out 'who dun it' too. A woman's husband and baby are ki... morelled and she says she did it but her life long friend thinks otherwise. She likes writing domestic stories as that is what she knows mostly about and I really liked another one that I read - will have to look for more. less
