review 1: All 66 books are explained and applied in a synopsis of one or two pages each. We've been going through this book with our boys so they can know the overall view of the Bible.Do you know in ten words or less what the book of Amos is about? This book gives you a handle on all the books of the Bible so you know who wrote it, when, what it's about, a detailed summary, quotable verses that are common from the book, what's unique and interesting from the book and what's the take away from book--why does it matter.Practical, helpful, good.

... mored. I have read a few chapters in some books of the Bible every now and then, and I may have finished reading a couple or more books from the New Testament. However, it is definitely hard to remember most of them, especially when it is in a bygone writing style that will need time, patience, and close study to be properly understood. KNOW YOUR BIBLE is a quick and excellent guide to what each book is about. The summary of each book follows a structured outline that is easy to grasp, effectively making the prospect of reading the Bible less overwhelming. This book is a big help and a treasure find. less
