The following details of each book of the Bible are examined: the author of the book, the date in which it was written, and a summary of the book in ten words or less. After these sections, Author, Date, and In Ten Words or... more Less, more details of the book are given, in Details, Please. Important verses are highlighted in the Quotable section. In the Unique and Unusual section, the reader gets unusual or unique information, or details about the book and its content. The last section, So What, gives us critical pointers as to how we can best apply the book to our lives. Know Your Bible is a practical little reference resource to have on hand with your Bible, or on your Kindle. This is a useful resource for any student of the scriptures and can be especially helpful for those teaching Bible classes or Christian Education classes. This is a great refresher for those who are knowledgeable about the scriptures and is a fantastic tool to survey the scriptures for those who are just becoming familiar with their Bibles. review 2: This is a really good reference book for the Bible. This book is a good quick read to bring one up to speed in a short amount of time about each of the the individual books of the Bible. It is divided into who the book is written by, when it was written, a description in ten words or less, details please, quotable verses, the message, and so what. And all are delivered in short spurts. This is a great common-sense approach that is probably best suited as a study aide when reading the various chapters of the Bible that is to be read in doses. less
