review 1: The Big Crunch is a starkly realistic love story fated to end in disaster but is yet full of hope, joy, and plenty of laughs. June’s father is a ‘workout man’ who travels to company’s in need and helps them out of debt, Wes is a sarcastic boy whos best friend wants to be school president, and when he sees June, who he secretly calls ‘fish girl’ things get complicated for everyone involved.
review 2: I liked it, but if you read the author's end note, he had said that there was a certain scene where he had stopped the book before sending it to his editor. I forgot which scene it was, but I felt like it should have ended there. I felt like the author had given the rest of a book a half-hearted effort, like he wasn't really into writing the ending half
... more of the book. The first part I loved, the second part was... meh; okay, but it just seemed to drag on after that one scene. less
