review 1: This book was about as timeless as parachute pants. Not that it was aiming for longevity, but for a book published in 2009 to already feel outdated is (to me) a waste of binding. This felt like a compilation of magazine articles, down to very specific website information (which, really, how long does that last?) and other timely travel tips. I skimmed for the teased bits (what exact day and time SHOULD I book my hotel online?) but didn't find anything especially useful. Promised more than it really delivered (two years later, at least).

... moree one huge article with 18 chapters that tell you how to travel, where to travel and the best part; how to save the most money. It tells you interesting facts and information that no one else would dare to put in their books. If you are not into travel texts, I would not recommend this. It is for readers who want a break from stories and fictions as well as a fun and extremely informative read. less

Its a bit outdated (2008), but there are some good tips in here. I like the one-tank trip ideas.
