review 1: J'ai eu du mal a entrer dans l'histoire au début car beaucoup de personnages, de passés et d'environnements différents auxquels s'habituer mais une fois les "présentations" faites on comprend facilement comment les évènements vont prendre sens. Même si le thème est relativement facile à comprendre on est pas mal surpris par soi-même. Beaucoup de sentiments contradictoires vis-a-vis des personnages et du déroulement de l'histoire au fil de la lecture, on peut être mal à l'aise avec le thème ou même nos volontés face au destin des personnages. Une lecture que je recommande fortement !
review 2: A teen is dredged up from the English Channel, minus it's vital organs....Another teen is dying of liver failure, while her mother will do anything to save... more her life....DS Roy Grace uncovers an human organ trafficking ring across Eastern Europe and is in a race to save a young street girl life....Roy....Roy...Roy....I seem to have a love/relationship with Peter James. It took me 28 days to read this fifth instalment in this series. The story was very padded out and only picked up in pace at the very end. I still have problems with the innate dialogue between Grace and his friend DS Glen Branson (all that 'Yo! Old man how's it going!' Is getting very old....people only speak to each like that in badly made movies). Yet, James pulls it out right at the end, pulling on the heart strings...and what is happening with Roy's ex-wife: Sandy?It will be a while until I return to Grace again, but I probably will. 6/10 less
