review 1: Quite like the way the authors position their thoughts and tool use as not complex. I think they understand the way to practise these five tools and get the ideas across to readers. But there are overlaps in the tools. For instance, inner authority is like your inner self and able to face it bravely. It is similar to how you generate active love on your foe and it also takes courage. Similarly, the reversal of pain also takes courage to face the pain and accept it, then reverse negativity to strength and positivity. I feel that it will be better if the concluding chapter can use visualization aid like a table to compare and contrast instead of another round of summary (as there is already summary for each tool's chapter).
review 2: Great book. Very helpful. T

I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past me I will turn to see fear's path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.")"Adversity is the only way the universe has to increase our inner strength. To develop a muscle you have to lift progressively heavier weights..." Don't accept a flabby life. Embrace the difficulties that come your way. Embrace them and master them. They come to you in love.re: Inner Authority(**spoilers** Ursula Le Quin - Wizard of Earthsea)It is not just the Shadow of our insecurities that we need to embrace. We also need to embrace the glory of our potential. less

An excellent book. It looks superficial at first sight, but at second sight it is deep and useful.
