review 1: I thought that this was a great book. It really got me to keep on reading because I wanted to know what was going to happen. I feel bad and upset that Thumbelina has no parents. Her dad went to New York and started a new family and her mom died. She killed herself as a result of her husband leaving. Now that she noes who her admirer is I think she has a little less stress. I cant believe it was Henry! Her own best friend secretly had a crush on her! It was never Benny, Benny never even liked her. He liked her best friends sister Anisia.. As I was getting closer to the end of the book I got a feeling that it was maybe Henry because he was acting very weird and strange. Benny was just an innocent boy delivering pizza and it just so happened she got the first note when he del... moreivered the pizza so they expected it to be him. I really enjoyed reading this book I thought it was very good.
review 2: This book was cute, but extremely predictable.I felt Stone did a great job on the characters. It actually felt like a 12 year-old was telling the story, which was hilarious as well as annoying at some points. (Of course I'm not the main audience. There was depth to the characters and they were all described how a 7th grader would talk about her friends, enemies, or family. The tragedy of her mother's depth and Thumbelina's inability to remember any of the events that week definitely helped the book out in my opinion.Overall I give this 3 starts because sometimes I just wanted to pick the speaker up and shake her! less
